Fire Protection Surveys
Our Fire Protection Surveys thoroughly investigate buildings for fire safety compliance, based on the PFP built into the fabric of the building, and how effectively it prevents and slows down fire, smoke, and toxic gases. The surveys include detailed recommendation for required improvements.
Fire Exit Strategy
We design Fire Exit Strategies that are not only compliant, but specifically tailored to your building and its occupancy. They cover evacuation routes and exits, fire rating of doors, door furniture, fittings, and frames, and take into account factors such as smoke and evacuation modelling.
Fire Compartmentation
We divide buildings into separate compartments to contain a fire and stop it going any further. Our fire-rated partitions, floors and ceilings, fire-stopping, and aperture and penetration sealing prevent fire from spreading, minimising damage to the building and risk to the occupants.
Breach Fixes
Everyday modifications to a building over time – drilling into walls, rehinging doors, installing new cabling – can cause the building’s fire compliance to be compromised. We conduct thorough investigations to find and fix the breaches, and restore the building’s compliance.
Fire Door Solutions
Our fire doors are vital in slowing the progress of fire, smoke, and toxic gases – and gaining crucial moments to enable occupants to evacuate the building effectively. CFP’s Fire Door Solutions range from 20 - 240 minutes’ fire resistance, and come in single and double leaf, bespoke, decorative, and glass variants, with smoke seals and intumescent gaskets.
Intumescent Coatings
Our Intumescent Coatings protect steelwork, and prevent its structural failure when exposed to extreme heat, from 30 – 180 minutes. This helps prevent parts of the building from collapsing during fire, keeping evacuation routes open and significantly reducing the risk to those still in the building.
Fire Protection Maintenance
We keep your PFP performing as it should, and repair any damage – whether as part of a preventive arrangement or reactively. Fire doors are particularly prone to damage and degradation over time, owing to the heavy use they typically undergo. We make sure both the doors themselves and their furniture, fixtures and fittings can carry on doing the critical job they were designed for.
Certification
At CFP, it’s certified or nothing! We use only BS and EN fire-rated products, and we hold qualifications that enable us to certify fire protection compliance, including, amongst others, ISO 9001 and 14001, Chas, Constructionline, SafeContractor, Considerate Contractor, Q-Fire Door Installation, and Q-Mark Fire Door Maintenance and Fire Stopping Installation.
